What We Do Not Do

FCIC is not a U.S. federal agency, state government agency, or part of the United States Government. FCIC does not exercise statutory regulatory authority, law enforcement powers, or government-sanctioned enforcement capabilities. FCIC does not have the authority to issue binding regulations, bring legal actions, impose penalties, or compel compliance.
